    Purpose of the role

    You will involve in various stages of software products' lifespan and should remain abreast of technological advancements to promote efficiency. You will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet customer needs.

    • Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
    • Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
    • Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage
    • Collaborate with development and QA to conceptualize, develop, and automate software delivery
    • Build and implement new development tools and infrastructure
    • Automate and improve the development and release process
    • Work with Architect/Engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
    • Deploy updates and fix
    • Build tools to reduce the occurrence of errors and improve customer experience
    • Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues
    • Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
    • Secure software to prevent security breaches and other vulnerabilities
    • Suggest alterations to workflow in order to improve efficiency and success
    • Create Groovy based pipeline scripts using Jenkins
    • Create Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation/Terraforms
    • Create VPC items such as peering two regions and NAT gateway
    • Create IAM access policies and cross-account access using STS

    Skills, knowledge, experience and exposure

    • 3+ years of experience with MS SQL Server database or a comparable relational database engine. PL/SQL background is a plus.
    • Experience with Source Control environments such as Perforce and Git
    • Must have hands-on on Docker/Python or any other programming scripts
    • Experience with Jenkins and Pipeline automation
    • Experience working on Linux based infrastructure
    • Excellent understanding of Python, Groovy, and Java
    • Configuration and managing databases such as MSSQL, Mongo
    • Exposure to Cloud Databases (RefShift, Snowflake, etc)
    • Exposure to Apache Web Server & Tomcat
    • Exposure to Networking Infrastructure
    • Experience in authoring CI/CD scripts and templates (e.g. AWS Cloud Formation or Terraforms)
    • Good experience in creating auto-scalable ECS and EKS services and integrating them into Application load balancers
    • Experience in using Python and other scripting languages for automation
    • Experience in automating code deployments for Java
    • Strong experience in AWS networking (VPC, VPN, routing, security)
    • Basic understanding of AWS services such as CloudWatch, S3, CloudFront, DynamoDB, ACM, WAF, SQS, and RDS
    • DNS Management in Route53, such as Domain creation, migration, and latency-based routing

    The mindset to navigate the role

    • A relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science or a related field.
    • Ability to work closely with business partners at multiple levels
    • Actively participate in our software development processes, including planning, design, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
    • Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
    • Identify gaps and bottlenecks in pipelines, and make recommendations to resolve those gaps
