    Purchasing Manager responsibilities and duties

    Seek out and evaluate used cars for sale through local and out-of-state vendors

    Negotiate purchase prices on used cars and determine whether to purchase or pass based on our in-house guidelines

    Visit local dealers on a regular basis to peruse new inventory and maintain positive working relationships with those vendors

    Keep meticulous records on all transactions and submit them to our accounting department monthly for auditing

    Inform vendors of our purchasing requirements and ensure all tasks are fulfilled, from producing new keys to providing maintenance records Purchase executives are responsible for performing certain duties like evaluating vendors negotiating contracts, preparing reports, track order and ensure timely delivery, review the quality of purchased products, enter order details into the internal database, maintain an updated record of purchased products, delivering information, and invoices, prepare a report on purchase-including cost analyses, monitor stock level and place order as needed.

    Job Description

    Procurement of electronic components, mechanical and PCB fabrications, wiring harness and any other item that is relevant to the production, R&D and day to day operations of the organization.

    Sending out RFQs to vendors, eliciting response and preparation of comparative statement of cost

    Identifying and assessing vendor performance and bringing in more and more newer vendors to create competition between the vendors to offer the best price

    Ensuring the timely acceptance /rejection of the material supplied

    Interact with customs for import of items and export of products Profile Desired

    Graduate, preferably an engineer

    Experience of at least 5 years in having handled purchase preferably for an electronics company in a managerial position

    Knowledge of Excise, Sales Tax, Customs and banking formalities such as LC, LG, etc. Having a good network of vendors for supply of electronic components Good...Ability to work as a team.
