    What You Will Do:

    • Lead and oversee the analysis of financial transactions within the Transaction Monitoring / AML team, ensuring thorough detection and investigation of unusual activities or behaviors
    • Direct the utilization of monitoring tools and systems to proactively identify potential risks and fraudulent behaviors, overseeing the team's efforts for effective detection and response
    • Manage the investigation process for alerts generated by automated systems, conducting in-depth analyses to determine the legitimacy and guiding the team in appropriate actions
    • Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams to escalate and report suspicious activities or potential compliance issues, fostering effective communication and resolution across departments
    • Ensure up-to-date knowledge and adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices within the team, guiding and training team members as needed
    • Oversee the generation of comprehensive reports and documentation outlining findings and investigations for internal and external stakeholders
    • Lead and contribute to developing and enhancing transaction monitoring processes and procedures, utilizing insights to improve operational efficiency

    What You Will Need:

    • 6-8 years of progressive experience in transaction monitoring, fraud detection, or financial investigations, with at least 2 years in a team management role
    • Expertise in AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and KYC (Know Your Customer) regulations, ensuring team compliance and providing guidance on implementation
    • Proficiency in overseeing and utilizing financial monitoring tools and software, leveraging technology to enhance investigative capabilities and team performance
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, providing managerial guidance and support in handling complex issues and decision-making
    • Exceptional attention to detail and discretion in handling sensitive information, ensuring the team operates with the utmost professionalism and confidentiality
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, facilitating effective interaction with various stakeholders, including presenting findings and recommendations
