Scientific Publishing Role

This position involves overseeing the evaluation of manuscript submissions for scientific rigor and their potential publication in a leading academic journal. As a key member of the review team, you will uphold the scientific integrity of the Journal and support its mission to advance research through visualization.

• Evaluate submitted manuscripts for scientific validity and suitability for publishing.
• Review new submissions to ensure they fit within the scope of the journal and adhere to our publication standards.

You will work closely with other teams, such as Production, to accelerate article publication by moving accepted manuscripts efficiently through our production pipeline. Timely editorial workflows are essential, requiring coordination with peer review and editorial teams to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

• A postgraduate degree in life sciences or engineering is required; experience in these fields is advantageous.
  


• Mastery over editorial processes - submission-to-acceptance workflows - along with prior knowledge in scientific publishing or peer review , would be preferred.
  


• Fully developed communication skills (both verbal & written) ensuring seamless interaction among cross-functional groups
