    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    Fund Raising for Government Undertakings:

    • Assist in structuring and executing fund-raising transactions for State PSUs, Municipal

    Corporations and Central Government undertakings.

    • Continuously track government borrowing programs, policy developments, and debt

    market trends to sense emerging opportunities.

    • Liaise with government agencies, Rating agencies, institutions and regulatory bodies

    to facilitate approvals and execution.

    • Support in preparing IMs, financial models, pitch books and proposals for fund raising.

    Business Development & Advisory:

    • Working on advisory mandates for PF/Pension Funds, advising on deployment of funds

    as per the regulatory guidelines including guidance on asset allocation, regulatory

    compliance and investment strategies.

    • Develop and maintain relationships with Provident Funds, Pension Funds, Insurance

    Companies, and other institutional investors.

    • Assist in maintaining investor databases and tracking market trends
    • Identify placement opportunities and support execution of bond issuances in line with

    investor appetite.

    • Prepare and deliver impactful presentations to clients, investors and internal

    stakeholders.

    Collaboration & Execution:

    • Work closely with senior team members in transaction structuring, documentation,

    and negotiations.

    • Coordinate with legal, compliance, and rating agencies as part of transaction

    execution.

    • Support research, sectoral analysis, and preparation of client-ready reports.

    Key Skills & Competencies

    • Strong understanding of fixed income markets, debt instruments, and government securities.
    • Ability to prepare and deliver high-quality presentations (Pitch decks, IMs, Strategy papers).
    • Excellent communication and client engagement skills.
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to sense business opportunities.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modelling skills.
    • Team player with a proactive attitude and high attention to detail.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Postgraduate in Finance / MBA / CA / CFA (preferred).
    • More than 5 years of relevant experience in Debt Capital Markets, Treasury or Government

    Advisory.

    • Exposure to Government Borrowing Programs, Institutional Investor Coverage or Bond

    Placements will be an added advantage.
