    Description

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Quality Control (QC) in Furniture

    Location: New Delhi

    Industry Type: Furniture / Interior / Manufacturing Industry

    Experience: Min 5yrs

    Salary: 30K to 50K

    Must have Knowledge in making furniture, Modular furniture

    Developing and implementing innovative strategies to streamline factory operations.

    Prepare and implement Daily Work Report, MIS Reports Work Flow Chart, Task Sheets etc

    Collaborating with quality control managers to establish and execute quality control processes.

    Ensuring that factory machinery is in good working order.

    Analyzing production data to identify and resolve any production issues.

    Preparing production reports and submitting them to key decision-makers.

    Regularly inspecting finished products to determine whether they meet established quality standards.

    Motivating factory workers to continually achieve factory targets.

    Manage the Production, Operations and Store department in all aspects and

    To make sure the Site are running smooth

    Co ordinate with Production, Operations and Store department in all aspects.

    Ensure labor and materials are all ready for upcoming day schedule

    Coordinate all quality activities and distribute information concerning quality issues.

    Work closely with manufacturing in determining best methods to accomplish desired results.

    Develop and maintain quality standards and check procedures throughout the facility.

    Develop a tracking system for quality issues and implement improvements.

    Implement and oversee an incoming inspection program of purchased materials and components.

    Supervise and manage hourly Quality Assurance Associates and their daily activities.

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

    Must be knowledgeable of cabinet manufacturing processes and physical characteristics of wood.

    Must be knowledgeable of solid wood and veneer natural and manufacturing defects and characteristics.

    Must be knowledgeable of finishing processes and possess the ability to establish acceptable color ranges.

    Must be knowledgeable of the Quality tools used to monitor the process and make improvements.

    Must be a self-starter that can identify improvements and implement them with limited direction.

    Must have good written and verbal communications skills, along with exceptional interpersonal skills.

    Must be focused and attentive to details.

    Must be able to function with interruptions and deadlines.

    Strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple priorities.
