- Quarterly valuation on IFRS-17, IFRS-9 and legal entity bases, noting this business is written in multiple jurisdictions.
- Explanation of financial results, including input to the quarterly Business Unit Reserving Committee.
- Maintenance of assumptions, including regular reviews of applicable assumptions.
- Supporting other group-wide financial reporting initiatives such as the annual Business Plan, Group ORSA, Group Risk (Solvency) Model.
- Support the necessary feedback cycles to prompt management attention/action for the inforce portfolio, working collaboratively with the Financial Markets and Inforce team.
- Supporting the operating model for Financial Lines financial reporting, especially with regard to the anticipated growth in this area of Swiss Re's business.
- Qualified or part-qualified actuary with relevant valuation experience relating to financial line products in the life & health insurance space.
- Capable of handling multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of IFRS-17, IFRS-9 and local entity (statutory) valuation requirements for life & health Financial Lines.

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to take on a newly created role in the Life & Health Valuation team – valuing the non-traditional "Financial Lines" transactions.
The role presents exciting development opportunities, including exposure to geographically diverse business as well as Swiss Re stakeholders throughout the value chain.
About the Role
In this role you will focus on all Swiss Re's global Life & Health Financial Lines, which consists of variable annuities; products with remote insurance risks; as well as other products with exposure to financial market risks. The inforce portfolio is written across various markets around the world and Swiss Re has significant growth ambitions for this portfolio, noting significant new transactions have been added in the last 12 months.
