    Job Description:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with expertise in implementing and maintaining security measures to protect our organization's information systems and data assets. The Cyber Security Specialist will work closely with our IT team to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities, develop strategies to mitigate these risks, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in our information systems and networks.
    • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices to safeguard our organization's data assets.
    • Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security controls and technologies to protect against cyber threats.
    • Stay up-to-date on emerging threats and security trends, and recommend proactive measures to mitigate risks.
    • Conduct security awareness training and education programs for employees to promote a culture of security awareness.
    • Participate in incident response and forensic investigations as needed to address security incidents and breaches.
    • Assist with regulatory compliance efforts and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations related to cybersecurity.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • 7+ years of experience preferred.
    • Proven experience working in a cybersecurity role, with a strong understanding of security principles, practices, and technologies.
    • Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, antivirus, and endpoint security solutions.
    • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, GDPR, and HIPAA.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and address security risks and vulnerabilities.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
