    Job Description

    As a Product Specialist (PS) for the Spectroscopy products (Agilent, Bruker, Veolia) you will be responsible for hunting new target market segments across the region. As an integral member of the field sales team, you will use your excellent technical acumen and business development skills to focus on acquiring new customers while assisting in retaining and growing the existing customers. You will need to have a good grasp of the business ahead in order to drive the forecast accuracy.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan that will enable GBA to penetrate into different markets with Spectroscopy products (Agilent, Bruker, Veolia)

    · Accountable to capture customer applications and documenting the scope in the initial phase of sales discussion and delivering the committed deliverables thus ensuring customer satisfaction which is utmost priority of the organization.

    • Track and analyze the sales performance of the products within their capacity and define targeted activities together with the Sales and Marketing organizations to increase penetration into diversified market segments.
    • Act as a technical sales coach for our sales organization for products within area of responsibility.

    · Preparing optimum configurations for Spectroscopy products(AAS, ICPOES, ICPMS, UV-Vis, FTIR, TOC, X-ray products) in line with customer Application requirements.

    • Conduct product presentations to customers that have been planned strategically to address their requirements and to win the opportunity.

    · Ensure that all the established sales and internal processes (e.g., Presales, preparing configuration, checking configuration etc.) are followed in a systematic manner to secure efficient collaboration internally and with the customers.

    · Must have the attitude and perseverance to learn new product/technologies in line with the organizational requirement.

    Qualification/Knowledge/Experience

    · Masters or PhD in Science or equivalent with 10 years of relevant experience on Spectroscopy product Specialization.

    · Industry/Application Expertise: Some level of application knowledge in Hydrocarbon, Lifescience, commercial testing labs, Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical; working knowledge of Spectroscopy instruments and X-ray products are key.

    · Hands-on experience on the instrument is desirable and will be an added advantage for this position.

    · Demonstrated experience in team leadership would be preferable.

    · Must have Excellent Communication skills.

    · Position is based in India, must support Middle East, India and SEA. Person needs to travel with in the region extensively if required.
