Grow developand integrate the Subsea System team . Provide technical expertiseand guidance in engineering activities including concept selectiondesign and execution of subsea systems. Lead and participate in thedevelopment of engineering solutions for subsea projects ensuringcompliance with applicable codes regulations and industrystandards.
Stay updated with the latest technological advancementsand industry trends in subsea engineering and apply them to enhanceproject efficiency and safety.
2.ProjectManagement:
Lead the planning scheduling and execution of subseaengineering projects ensuring they are completed within budget andon schedule. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams includingsubsurface drilling flow assurance facilities and project managersto develop integrated project plans and strategies. Monitor projectprogress identify potential risks and challenges and implementappropriate mitigation measures to ensure projectsuccess. 3.
Subsea System Design:
Developand review subsea engineering designs specifications and proceduresincluding subsea hardware flowlines umbilicals and risers.
Collaborate with contractors vendors and suppliers to evaluate andselect appropriate subsea equipment and materials. Performengineering calculations simulations and analysis to ensure theintegrity and reliability of subsea systems.4.
Team Management and Mentorship:
Lead and manage ateam of subsea engineers providing technical guidance mentorshipand performance feedback. Foster a collaborative and inclusive workenvironment promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learningamong team members. Identify training and development needs withinthe team and facilitate appropriate training programs to enhancetheir skills and competencies. 5.
HSECompliance:
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliancewith health safety and environmental (HSE) regulations throughoutsubsea engineering activities. Conduct risk assessments andimplement appropriate measures to mitigate potential hazards andminimise operational risks. Investigate incidents and near missesand implement corrective actions to preventreoccurrence.

Expected:
Bachelors degree or higher in engineering preferably inmechanical civil chemical electrical or subsea engineering.
Extensive experience in subsea engineering within the oil and gasindustry including a proven track record in leading subseaprojects.
The ability to manage the delivery of engineeringdocuments and drawings describing the subsea system within agreedproject timelines and budgets and expected quality requirements.
Knowledge of those components typically comprising a subsea systemincluding subsea hardware subsea controls pipelines risers andumbilcals. Knowledge of subsea systems during different phases ofoperation including precommissioning commissioning normal operationmaintenance and repair.Understanding of those engineeringdisciplines which subsea systems need to interact with includingflow assurance process technical safety environmental materialssubsurface drilling facilities etc.
Strong knowledge of subseaengineering principles subsea systems and relevant industry codesand standards (e.g. API ISO). Demonstrated project managementskills including the ability to manage multiple projectsconcurrently prioritise tasks and deliver results within deadlinesand budget constraints. Excellent leadership and communicationskills with the ability to effectively collaborate withmultidisciplinary teams stakeholders and contractors. Strongproblemsolving abilities with a focus on finding innovative andpractical solutions to complex subsea engineering challenges.
