General: 1) Ensure that all thetests/procedures in the laboratory are carried out in the manner asdescribed in the respective SOPs. 2) Ensurethat appropriate controls are employed at defined intervals and theQC data is checked for correctness. This should be done everymorning and necessary corrective actionsadvised. 3) Ensure that results are readywithin the committed time frame.

Sign out and release the reportsgenerated from tests done in the lab and in specific situationsreferred out to other labs.

4) Ensure thatthe lab is optimally staffed always and monitor the performance ofstaff working in the lab including approval of their dutyrosters. 5) Supervise and ensure propermaintenance and management of stocks of reagents andconsumables. 6) Address patient and customercomplaints and escalate to a higher level ifwarranted 7) Ensure proper maintenance oflaboratory records by the staff. 8) Preparethe laboratory for accreditation for ISO15189/ Any other relevantrequirements coming out of mutual agreement.10) Help in both ADL & NARL works assigned toyou.
