Job Description
Wednesday works with customers with a high amount of autonomy. We own problem statements and work with them to provide simple solutions to complex and challenging problems. You will be responsible for front-end architecture, delivery and innovation across all pods at Wednesday.

What activities will your day-to-day include?

You will work with the team to ensure the highest standards for implementation and planning while actively running and prioritising an innovation charter.

• People: Conduct bi-weekly 1-1s with your team and ensure that they are provided with all the help, guidance & support to advance in their career, and be equipped to do their best work.
  
• Architecture: Wednesday customers range from Medium-businesses to Fortune 500s, each project has different needs for which a one-size-fits-all approach does not work. Work with the teams and the customer to craft the ideal architecture for the project.
  
• Delivery: Work with the teams and delivery high quality digital products promptly.
  
• Innovation: Measure and optimise engineering processes, tools, and frameworks for productivity.
  
• Planning & Technical Documentation: Create, monitor & optimise planning processes & documentation processes for front-end systems to ensure smooth and seamless delivery.
  

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in building digital products with at least 2 years in a leadership position
  
• Experience building systems to support 100,000+ concurrent users from the ground up.
  
• Experience creating detailed technical documentation.
  
• Articulate written and verbal communication.
  
• Deep expertise in React, , or Flutter.
  
• Expertise and experience building developer libraries and SDKs.
  
• Expertise and experience working with micro-frontends, WebAssembly, & setting up CI/CD pipelines and IaC for the frontend.
