As a senior credit professional, you will play a critical role in driving business growth while mitigating financial risk. Key responsibilities include:

• Negotiating and administering global credit insurance policies on behalf of UK operating businesses, working closely with senior management and credit insurers.
• Ensuring timely and accurate credit reviews are conducted in accordance with procedures, requirements, and standards.
• Developing and maintaining systems to assess customer creditworthiness, leveraging financial analysis, market intelligence, and customer payment performance data.
• Approving or recommending credit limits in line with established procedures and standards.
• Collaborating with senior credit managers to proactively manage exposure levels within approved credit limits.
• Providing specialist credit advice and guidance to BU Finance and Commercial teams, ensuring consistency across FSS departments.
• Effectively managing credit insurance policies, ensuring they align with commercial and financial procedures, and monitoring performance to inform decision-making.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement in the credit management operation, working closely with the Credit and Risk Management Manager.
• Developing and maintaining KPIs to measure credit analyst and manager performance.
• Maintaining service level agreements, ensuring prompt issue resolution, and anticipating future problems based on emerging trends.
• Leading, developing, and motivating high-calibre staff to achieve departmental goals, ensuring effective controls and segregation of duties.
• Maintaining audit readiness, ensuring complete and up-to-date records of all staff activities and data.
