    Job description

    • Hands-on experience in Testing of RESTful APIs and Microservices using technology stack: Java/J2EE, Spring framework, Rest Assured, SOAP UI (Groovy Scripting), Spring Batch, AWS Elastic Kubernetes Services (EKS), Apigee/API Gateway.
    • Experience in API logging, API testing, creating REST API documentation using Swagger and YAML or similar tools desirable.
    • Experience with test-driven design & development, unit and integration testing, CI/CD pipelines.
    • Experience in TDD, writing unit test cases in JUnit. Unit Test Frameworks: Mockito (Java), Junit (Java). Development and execution of unit test scripts.
    • Must have exposure to End-to-end Test Frameworks: Test API, Protractor; Rest-Assured, Functional Testing: Selenium/Cypress/Cucumber.
    • Must have build data-driven test frameworks using both Rest Assured (for APIs testing) and Cypress/Selenium/Cucumber (for UI automation).
    • Understanding of requirements, dependencies, and timelines.
    • Providing estimation of User Stories in Sprint-backlog.
    • Developing Innovative and reusable testing components.
    • Ability/Experienced to deliver the line items in a fast-paced environment.
    • Tracking/Updating progress of code development using collaboration tools like Atlassian JIRA.
    • Strict adherence to committed delivery timelines.
    • Experience with Unix, Linux OS in cloud environments- preferably on AWS environment.
    • Experience working in Scrum teams, attending stand-ups, sprint ceremonies, working in teams in highly pressurized environments, Prioritizing the line-items and other Agile processes.
    • Knowledge of Jira, Git/SVN, Jenkins, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines
    • Should be very Experienced API Test developer in testing the middle tier APIs using Java and Spring.
    • Positions General Duties and Tasks & responsibilities are:
    • Work with stakeholders to gather the testing requirements.
    • Test and deploy APIs.
    • Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented Java Code
    • Communicating with internal/external web services
    • Housekeeping of Existing REST API test-suites
    • Ensuring APIs that are automated are developed using industry standard best practices.
