Oracle/SQL Backend QA TestAutomation Engineer

PositionOverview: We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle/SQLBackend QA Test Automation Engineer to join our team. The idealcandidate will be responsible for designing developing andexecuting automated tests for our Oracle and SQL backend systems.This role requires expertise in test automation tools SQL queriesOracle databases and a strong understanding of QA bestpractices.

KeyResponsibilities:

1. Test Automation Development:
   • Design and implement automated test scriptsfor Oracle and SQL backend systems to ensure data integrityperformance and reliability.
   • Develop testframeworks and harnesses using industrystandard automation tools(e.g. Selenium TestNG JUnit) to support continuous integration andregression testing.
   • Collaborate withdevelopment and QA teams to define test cases test datarequirements and acceptance criteria.
2. Test Execution andReporting:
   • Executeautomated test suites and analyze test results to identify defectsperformance issues and areas for improvement.
   • Generate comprehensive test reports including testcoverage defect metrics and test execution summaries.
   • Work closely with QA analysts to troubleshoot issuesperform root cause analysis and validate fixes.
3. ContinuousIntegration and Deployment (CI/CD):
   • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to supportagile development practices and ensure timely feedback on codechanges.
   • Implement automated deploymentverification tests (DVT) to validate software releases andconfiguration changes in Oracle/SQL environments.
4. QualityAssurance Best Practices:
   • Stay updated on QA methodologies tools and trends relatedto Oracle/SQL backend testing.
   • Participate incode reviews sprint planning and retrospective meetings to promotequalityfocused development practices.
   • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to improve testcoverage test data management and test environmentsetup.
