Senior Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer to join our newly established engineering team.

The successful candidate will play an instrumental role in designing, developing, and maintaining high quality software, whilst liaising with the management and testing colleagues.

What You'll Do


Software Development:
Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions based on given requirements and specifications,Code principally in in an webform project,Collaborate with your manager and colleagues to ensure alignment with project objectives,Debug, test, and optimise your code to ensure performance, robustness, and understandability,


Team Collaboration:
Assist junior developers by providing guidance, feedback, and code reviews,Collaborate with the testing team to ensure software quality,Actively participate in team meetings, sharing insights and suggestions,


Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices,Introduce innovative solutions and techniques to improve the development process,Contribute to continuous codebase refactoring to maintain high standards and ease of maintenance,Stay updated with, and contribute to, Risk handler's coding standards, making sure that you adhere to those standards.

Assist junior engineering colleagues to conform to those same standards.


Documentation:

When requested, document software solutions for better understanding and future reference,When requested, contribute to pre-build, documented solution design work,Provide clear and dependable responses to your manager regarding project progress and challenges.
