    Description

    Introduction: Join the innovative digital team at Republic TV, a premier news network in India known for its dynamic approach to news broadcasting and digital journalism.

    We are seeking a skilled Frontend Developer proficient in SvelteKit and Tailwind CSS to enhance our digital platforms, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience for our viewers.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain responsive and visually appealing user interfaces for Republic TV's digital news platforms using SvelteKit and Tailwind CSS.
    • Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers and backend developers to translate designs and technical requirements into functional, high-performance web applications.
    • Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and SEO effectiveness.
    • Implement adaptive solutions that ensure our web content is accessible across various devices and platforms.
    • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs while maintaining high web standards and best practices.
    • Maintain and improve website, troubleshoot and fix bugs, and ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.
    • Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and project planning sessions.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
    • Demonstrable experience with SvelteKit, Tailwind CSS, and a strong command of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
    • Proven track record of developing high-quality, responsive web applications.
    • Good understanding of SEO principles and application performance optimization.
    • Experience with version control tools like Git.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

    Desirable Skills:

    • Familiarity with TypeScript and its integration into SvelteKit projects.
    • Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe XD or Photoshop.
    • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
    • Background in media, news, or content-driven websites is a plus.
