    Description

    Product Designer

    Role:

    Simplify Healthcare is looking for a product designer. If you are a person who is passionate about creating, intuitive and aesthetically pleasing digital design products, we have a place for you.

    As a product designer you will coordinate with the product and development team to understand the design requirements and transform them into engaging experiences for our clients.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product owners, engineers, and other stakeholders.
    2. Illustrate new design ideas using UI/UX frameworks such as user research, analysis, wireframes, and prototyping.
    3. Combine UX thinking with design execution to produce usable and intuitive UI designs.
    4. Plan and run user testing sessions and other design research methodologies to inform design decisions.
    5. Communicate and document design recommendations from a technical standpoint to developers and stakeholders.
    6. Solid understanding of using HTML and CSS for website design. Hands-on experience with different JavaScript frameworks (jQuery etc.), Bootstrap, etc.
    7. Identify and troubleshoot UX design problems.
    8. Work on building design processes, tools, and culture at Simplify healthcare.

    Requirements:

    1. 5+ experience in UI/UX design or similar role for B2B products.
    2. University qualification in one of the following areas: Design Degree, Engineering degree, Digital Media degree.
    3. An online portfolio that demonstrates your previous work, highlighting the end-to-end UX design processes, tools, and final output.
    4. Experience working in direct collaboration with product leadership, development managers and cross-functional stakeholders.
    5. Communicate and present your ideas and work to articulate the rationale for decisions that led to the output.
    6. Knowledge of standard and best practices for UI/UX design processes and development of proposed design.
    7. Due to the cross-functional nature of this role you will be a self-sufficient, an outstanding team collaborator, with the ability to self-manage your own projects and workflow to meet deadlines.

    Technical Competencies:

    1. Knowledge of prototyping and research tools such as Figma, Invision, Adobe suite, Mural, and other similar tools.
    2. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript.
