Job Title: Mortgage Loan Closer

Job Summary: As a Mortgage Loan Closer, you will be responsible for coordinating the finalization of mortgage loans, ensuring all closing documents are accurate, compliant, and prepared in a timely manner. You will work closely with loan officers, underwriters, title companies, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth and efficient loan closings.

Responsibilities:

1. Review loan files to ensure all conditions for closing are met according to company policies and regulatory requirements.
2. Prepare closing documents, including the closing disclosure, promissory note, mortgage or deed of trust, and other required forms accurately and in compliance with federal, state, and investor guidelines.
3. Coordinate with title companies, attorneys, and other third-party vendors to obtain necessary documentation and schedule closings.
4. Communicate effectively with loan officers, underwriters, and processors to resolve any outstanding issues or discrepancies in loan files.
5. Review final loan documents for accuracy and completeness prior to closing.
6. Conduct final quality control checks to ensure all loan documents are signed and executed correctly.
7. Verify loan funding and disbursement of funds to appropriate parties.
8. Ensure timely delivery of closed loan packages to investors or secondary market purchasers.
9. Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the loan closing process.
10. Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
