    Job Title: Senior Technical Consultant

    Experience Level: 4-6 years

    Band: B+

    Short Description:

    We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Specialist with 4-6 years of in-depth experience in the

    ServiceNow platform to lead our efforts in streamlining business processes and enhancing

    our ServiceNow capabilities. This role requires advanced knowledge of the ServiceNow

    ecosystem, including Customer Service Management, Sourcing, and Procurement

    Operations, and a proven ability to design and deploy complex systems. The successful

    candidate will have a robust background in DevOps and be skilled in both leading projects

    and mentoring team members.

    Roles and Responsibilities:


    • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of ServiceNow solutions,

    focusing on Service Portal, Workspaces, CMDB, Service Catalog, and Now Agent.


    • Architect robust data models and workflows customized to business needs,

    ensuring scalability and performance.


    • Oversee code development and conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high

    standards of quality and efficiency.


    • Manage DevOps implementations within the ServiceNow environment to support

    continuous integration and deployment activities.


    • Provide expert troubleshooting for complex issues, offering timely and sustainable

    solutions.


    • Mentor junior team members, guiding them through complex technical challenges

    and promoting best practices in ServiceNow development and configuration.


    • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to translate business

    requirements into technical specifications, ensuring alignment with business goals

    and IT strategy.


    • Build robust Integrations with other peripheral systems, middleware, application.


    • Manage the ServiceNow upgrade process, ensuring compatibility and minimal

    disruption.

    Skills and Qualifications:


    • Advanced proficiency in the ServiceNow platform, with extensive experience in

    developing and managing Service Portal, Workspaces, CMDB, Service Catalog, and

    Now Agent.


    • Advanced proficiency in App Engine Studio, Flows to build custom applications

    using ServiceNow OOTB and plugins.


    • ServiceNow Portal development experience with Angular, JS, CSS, SQL/MongoDB is

    added advantage.


    • Strong background in DevOps practices, including automation tools, continuous

    integration, and continuous deployment.


    • Experience with ServiceNow client and server-side JavaScript and the ServiceNow

    APIs, scripted, Web-Services, AJAX, Business Rules, SOAP, REST, SSO-SAML


    • Exposure to configuring UI Actions/UI Policy ACL, Business Rules, Glide Scripting.


    • Demonstrated ability to lead projects, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence

    to best practices in software development.


    • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the capability to work under pressure.

    Experience and Education Background:


    • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a

    related field.


    • 4-6 years of professional experience with the ServiceNow platform.


    • Certifications required: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA),

    ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).

    Other Preferred Skills:


    • Familiarity with ITIL processes and certification is highly preferred.


    • Experience with AI and machine learning within the ServiceNow context is a plus.


    • Strong communication and leadership skills, capable of mentoring peers and leading

    by example.


    • Familiarity with other low code platforms like Appian and Pega is a plus.
