SourceFuse Technologies hiring Technical Architect with 10+ years of experience.

Job Overview:

● You will play a key role in designing and evolving multi-tenant SaaS product architectures that support high scalability, tenant isolation, extensibility, and long-term product evolution. This role

involves architecting a high-scale SaaS-oriented product that is deployed in customer-managed Kubernetes-based data centers. The architect must design systems that operate without reliance

on managed cloud services, leveraging open-source components, distributed system principles, and robust security practices.

● In addition to architecting robust backend systems, you will play a key role in enabling intelligent, functional, and aesthetic user experiences — leveraging the latest in AI and automation to boost team productivity and product intelligence.

● This role also includes the exploration and integration of Generative AI technologies and AI-enhanced developer tooling to streamline development, testing, and delivery cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

● Collaborate closely with development and delivery teams to enable scalable, high-performance software solutions.

● Design cloud-native architectures deployable on self-managed Kubernetes clusters.

● Architect multi-tenant SaaS capabilities including tenant isolation, configuration management, and extensibility.

● Define scalable service-to-service communication patterns using open standards.

● Ensure system resiliency through proper handling of failures, retries, circuit breakers, and eventual consistency.

● Design distributed data strategies (caching, replication, sharding where required).

● Select open-source components with strong community support and minimal vulnerability footprint.

● Define secure architecture patterns including zero-trust principles, encryption at rest/in transit, secrets management, and secure configuration handling.

● Conduct architecture-level threat modeling and security design reviews.

● Drive API governance, versioning, backward compatibility, and modular extensibility.

● Participate in client meetings as a technical expert to gather business and technical requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.

● Remain technology-agnostic, with a strong awareness of emerging tools, including AI-based solutions.

● Lead R&D initiatives around Generative AI, AI-driven automation, and productivity tooling to enhance engineering efficiency and code quality.

● Work cross-functionally with clients and project teams to capture requirements and devise intelligent, future-ready solutions.

● Identify opportunities to integrate AI-based code generation, automated testing, and AI-enhanced observability into the SDLC.

● Mentor teams on the adoption of GenAI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Amazon CodeWhisperer) and establish governance around their responsible use.

● Drive innovation in architecture by exploring AI/ML APIs, LLM-based recommendation systems, and intelligent decision engines.

Education:

mentioned above — including the capacity to evaluate and leverage AI-driven technologies for real-world challenges.

Skills & Abilities:

● Deep understanding of distributed systems fundamentals

● Strong expertise in Kubernetes-based system design (pods, services, networking, autoscaling concepts).

● Experience designing containerized systems for customer-managed K8s clusters.

● Strong knowledge of CNCF ecosystem tools (Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).

● Experience architecting systems without dependency on proprietary managed cloud services.

● Strong understanding of application and infrastructure security principles.

● Experience working with open-source stacks and managing vulnerability risks (CVE awareness, dependency scanning).

● Knowledge of secure software design principles (OWASP Top 10, threat modeling).

● Experience designing systems with encryption, secrets management, and secure configuration practices.

● Familiarity with compliance and data protection considerations in multi-tenant systems.

● Expert-level experience in full stack development using and Angular.

● Proficiency in architecting solutions from the ground up, from concept to production.

● Strong advocate of Test-Driven Development with hands-on implementation.

● Practical knowledge of microservices architecture, patterns, and scalability principles.

● Awareness and practical usage of observability tools and distributed tracing.

● Knowledge of LoopBack 4 is a plus.

● Bonus: Experience using or integrating GenAI tools for tasks such as:

○ Code scaffolding and refactoring

○ Automated documentation generation

○ Unit test cases generation

○ Intelligent API design

○ Semantic search and natural language processing

○ Prompt engineering and fine-tuning of LLMs

Experience :

● 10+ years designing scalable distributed systems

● Proven experience designing Kubernetes-native architectures

● Experience building systems deployed on self-managed or on-prem Kubernetes clusters

● Experience designing secure, open-source-based production systems

● Experience architecting multi-tenant SaaS solutions

● Experience handling production failure scenarios and designing for resilience in distributed environments.

● At least 1–2 years of practical exposure to AI-enhanced development workflows or GenAI technologies is highly desirable.
