As a Hardware Networking Engineer at Aricent, you will be responsible for managing the implementation of IT projects within time and budgets, delivering value and user satisfaction.

The role involves monitoring and optimizing IT expenses, identifying the IT needs of the business on an ongoing basis, and ensuring IT business alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing crisis situations involving complex technical hardware or software problems
• Evaluating and purchasing all software, hardware, and other IT supplies as per project requirements
• Designing network infrastructure and security policies for the company
• Providing major support for engineering software requirements/availability
• Responsible for IT hardware, software, and maintenance procurement
• Development and implementation of new systems
• IT operations, infrastructure & support services
• Administration & maintenance of servers
• Implementing data backup management of servers
• Maintaining/monitoring the network and communication systems (leased line, routers, firewall & other IT security appliances)
• Maintaining & monitoring internet services & email filtering policy
• Setting & achieving IT department objectives
• Building and maintaining vendor relationships
• Evaluating & purchasing all software, hardware, and other IT supplies
• Performing personnel functions
• Ensuring software licensing laws and secure access to the corporate network for remote users
• Managing data security from internal & external attacks
• Mentoring and training new IT support staff
• Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies
• Planning, developing, and implementing the IT budget to ensure cost-effectiveness
• AMC & rate contract maintenance for business-critical software and hardware
• Providing a monthly written report to the Director & MD on all aspects of the IT department
