- Manage a direct team of developers
- Work with Product Management to plan releases and oversees the implementation by the development team
- Resource allocation and balancing
- Implements and tracks development deadlines
- Negotiates feature sets with the product teams
- Identify and manage issues and risk throughout the product development lifecycle
- Helps define and enforces development methodology and process
- Drives the testing process
- Maintain cross-department communication with key company stakeholders including customer support and customer success
- Full people management responsibility, including hiring, promotions, performance and compensation management, and training and development for the overall department
- 5+ years of software engineering experience as an individual contributor with a distinguished track record on technically demanding projects that was released for public consumption
- Experience in developing/managing scalable web/mobile applications
- Strong knowledge of functional programming and programming languages
- Agile, proactive, comfortable working with high level specifications and can prioritise on the fly
- B.Tech/B.E. or higher degree in Computer Science

We are looking for a strong engineering leader to manage and lead exceptional software engineers, and make our product highly scalable, performant and secure. You will manage and lead a team of exceptional developers working on the product. We work in a collaborative environment and we value transparent communication and feedback, and making learning fun.
