Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Alliance Manager to lead strategic partnership initiatives and drive collaborative efforts in the development and manufacturing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and formulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of alliance management, contract development, and project coordination to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products within budgetary constraints.

Roles & Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for Alliance Management for licensing, Co-Development and CDO driven programs for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and Formulations.
• You will drive strategic outsourcing of projects for augmenting development pipeline through Contract Development approach for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and formulations.
• You will participate in the evaluation process of leads for external manufacturing, conduct evaluation of business case and aid financial decision making.
• You will co-ordinate with internal Product Management Organisation for ensuring on time filing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient and finished products.
• You will take up budgeting activities for Contract manufactured products and ensure timelines are achieved within allocated budget.
• You will be involved in managing Management Information System for periodic management and quality review meetings.
• You will be responsible to utilize existing knowledge management systems to facilitate information availability to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Educational qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant Science/ pharma or business administration

Minimum work experience: 2-5 years of experience

Skills & attributes:

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in conducting Market research and analysis.
• Extensive experience in alliance management, pharmaceutical development.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance, supply chain management, and financial modelling within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding of business development strategies, market dynamics.
• Familiarity with generics products, markets, therapies and basics of Intellectual Property and regulations.
• Strong Negotiation skills, Data Analytical Skills and Knowledge Management Systems.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical sciences, including chemistry, pharmacology, and formulation development, is beneficial.
• Proficiency in project portfolio management tools and risk assessment methodologies
