Job Summary
The job involves providing nursing care to patients in the Labor Delivery Room (LDR). The nurse must be oriented to the LDR routine, equipment, and patient types. They will assist with preparing the LDR for scheduled patients, prepare patients for delivery, and ensure investigation reports are available for doctor's perusal.They will also assist with normal deliveries and be knowledgeable about gestational age assessment. Additionally, they may be required to assist clinicians with medication administration, induce labor, monitor fetal heart rate,
