- Perform structure design, design verification (capable to do complex design in Creo).
- Create Conceptual designs and verify , finalise the concepts applying engineering analytics to decisions.
- Perform mechanical packaging of Electrical and power electronics products used in Construction / mining vehicles.
- Perform clearance / creepage calculations; Thermal management of entire electrical system.
- Strong knowledge in structural material and techno commercial knowledge for various material and process
- Strong ability to understand end to end material process for structural components.
- Sound understanding of Sheetmetal manufacturing and DfM.
- Actively support a prototype, pilot, or production build and perform audit.
- Perform bolted joint analysis & Creo simulate or equivalent FEA analysis.
- Good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, engineering drawings, manufacturing processes and Machine Bill of Material (BOM).
- Performs design calculations and accountable for design decisions.
- Conduct design reviews , Review engineering model , drawings and provide inputs to designers.
- Research and develop new technology related to Structural / sheet metal design.
- Communicate results to customers, suppliers, team members, and other business units
- Collaborate effectively with the internal/global team members to achieve project targets.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Relevant work experience: years with Bachelor Degree or years with Master Degree.
- Candidates with strong experience working on mechanical packaging of Power Inverters, DC-DC converters, Electric power modules, PDUs, LV/MV Switchboard/ Switchgear etc will be preferred.
- Candidates with strong experience in design of Sheetmetal / Structural design will be preferred.
