    Description

    Requirements:

    • Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
    • Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience with CAD knowledge (2D & 3D modeling).
    • in Solidworks / Creo for Gating and Feeding calculation (Cobalt Chromium and Steel Components).
    • in Simulation Softwares like Magmasoft / Procast (for Investment Casting).
    • Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret simulation results, and provide practical solutions for process optimization.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey analysis findings, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and present technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to meticulously analyze simulation data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
    • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment, share knowledge, and contribute to the overall success of projects.

    Responsibilities:

    • You will be responsible for performing computer-aided engineering (CAE) analysis using the Simulation Softwares like Magmasoft / Procast tool for Investment Casting.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team to simulate and analyze casting processes, identify potential issues, and provide recommendations for process optimization.
    • Conducting CAE Analysis: Utilize Simulation software to simulate and analyze casting processes, including mold filling, solidification, and cooling stages.
    • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve casting processes by analyzing simulation results and recommending design modifications gating system optimization, and material selection.
    • Defect Analysis: Detect and evaluate potential casting defects, such as porosity, shrinkage, and hot spots, and provide insights into root causes and corrective actions.
    • Material Characterization: Collaborate with material engineers to define material properties, thermal behavior, and other relevant parameters for accurate simulations.
    • Design Support: Provide engineering support by analyzing and evaluating casting designs, ensuring manufacturability, and suggesting design improvements.
    • Validation Testing: Collaborate with the testing team to validate simulation results by conducting physical tests, analyzing data, and refining simulation models.
    • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate analysis findings, recommendations, and progress updates to stakeholders.
    • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, advancements in casting technology, and new features of Simulation software to enhance analysis capabilities and contribute to process improvements.
