Overview:

The PL/SQLDeveloper plays a crucial role in designing coding testing andmaintaining database systems using PL/SQL. They are responsible forensuring the integrity and security of the database. This role isessential in optimizing database performance and supportingdatacentric applications within theorganization.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Design and developPL/SQL procedures functions packages andtriggers
• Optimize and tune PL/SQL code forperformance
• Collaborate with frontenddevelopers database administrators and other team members tointegrate backend logic with thefrontend
• Create and maintain database objectssuch as tables views and indexes
• Implement andmaintain data security using roles andprivileges
• Develop and maintain databasedocumentation
• Perform unit testing anddebugging of PL/SQL code
• Identify andtroubleshoot database issues and performancebottlenecks
• Participate in the design andimplementation of data models
• Assist indatabase schema design and applicationarchitecture
• Conduct code reviews and provideconstructive feedback
• Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams to deliver highqualitysolutions
• Stay updated on industry bestpractices and technologies related to PL/SQL and databasedevelopment
• Support production deployments andprovide postimplementation support
• Adhere tocoding standards and bestpractices

RequiredQualifications:

• Bachelors degree inComputer Science Information Technology or relatedfield
• Proven experience as a PL/SQL Developeror Database Developer
• Proficiency in writingand optimizing PL/SQL code
• Strong understandingof Oracle database architecture
• Expertise inSQL and data modeling
• Experience in performancetuning and query optimization
• Ability to workwith large datasets and complex datastructures
• Knowledge of data security andcompliance standards
• Strong problemsolving andanalytical skills
• Excellent communication andcollaboration abilities
• Understanding ofsoftware development lifecycle and agilemethodologies
• Ability to work effectively in afastpaced dynamic environment
• Goodunderstanding of version control systems and continuousintegration
• Certifications in Oracle and PL/SQLare a plus
• Familiarity with ETL processes andtools is anadvantage
