Position: Business Manager – Lubricant chemicals
Reporting to: Director
Working days: Monday - Friday
Location: Head office - Worli (Hybrid) or Remote if candidate not based in Mumbai
NOTE - The business leader would be responsible for building this division ground-up, recruit the team, devising the Market strategy, Engaging Partnerships & Collaborations and running the business independently.

Responsibilities include:
· Increasing Sales in existing market / existing customer base as well as developing new customers PAN INDIA.
· Acquiring business from major customers and ensuring prompt order processing, delivery of goods as per stringent customer schedules and solving problems related to dispatch & delivery of goods.
· Network with key customers, industry influencers, advisors and consultants to create new business opportunities in the assigned territory and forge strategic partnerships
· Set annual sales targets, develop strategic plans, and monitor performance against metrics to ensure objectives are met.
· Responsible for quotation/ bid submission to customers, negotiation of tenders and finalization of orders.
· Analyse market data, sales performance, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimize overall market strategy.
· Raising issues related to delayed payments, short payment, non-availability of payment advice with the customers and controlling debtors in line with the credit policy of the organization.
· Interaction with the companies factory and management, customers, R&D and QC.
· Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive threats, translating insights into actionable business strategies.
· Develop the product portfolio by analysing customer requirements, market trends and margin potential. Recommend new product lines or modifications to existing ones.
· Maintain a deep understanding of industry regulations, competitor activity, and economic factors impacting the market.
· Interact with technical service team to extend customer support for ensuring customer satisfaction.
· Enhancement of companies market reach by exploring new markets.
· Responsible for the P&L of the segment.
