Job Description:

Ensure Compliance

Ensuring strict adherence to all regulatory issues and compliance of all internal controls. Implement and Comply with Group Compliance Policy. Should deliver considering the operational risk associated with the role.

Mandatory Technical Roles/responsibilities:

• Commvault Backup resource with good Hands-on experience with 7+Years of experience.
• Understand Backup solutions, Commvault extensively, should have sound knowledge on Dedup policies, DDB maintenance, DASH, Backup, Restores.
• Should have extensive awareness of complex backup architecture.
• Should have awareness of Commvault Workflow Automation.
• Understand Backup Libraries, which includes understanding Storage and hardware libraries like HPE
• Sound Knowledge of Installation and Configuration of VSA, Proxy servers.
• Sound knowledge of Hyperscales.
• This position requires a good hands-on experience of Commvault backup tool and other related technologies e.g. SAN, NAS, Backup etc...
• BAU administration and support of CommVault backup environment.
• Good in the troubleshooting Backup Failures and provide technical resolution.
• Oracle Standalone and RAC backups using Commvault (Must Be Skills).
• SQL Standalone and AlwaysOn Backups using Commvault (Must Be Skills).
• IntelliSnap Backups (Good to have).
• Data protection and backup recovery solutions familiarity such as using virtual tape, disk, data replication
• Configuring, Maintaining NDMP backups for various NAS technologies.
• Work hand in hand with the Architecture team and provide input into the overall strategy for Backup technologies.
• Good experience in provisioning and supporting Backups for Virtual Environment, Windows, UNIX / Linux, Business Applications and Databases.
• Excellent Customer Service Skills.
• Must be a certified Backup Administrator i.e. Commvault Certified.
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and communicate best practices for Backup in a large customer environment.
• Ability to understand and comply with business processes and procedures.
• Troubleshooting backup failures and taking appropriate steps within NetBackup.
• Hands on experience on EMC Data Domain and NetBackup appliances.
• Configuration and troubleshooting of SAN Client backup (Fiber Transport)
• Configuration and troubleshooting on ORACLE, DB2, SQL, and VMware Backups (using SAN and NAS) within NetBackup.
• Basis OS knowledge of windows & Unix.
• Upgrading and patching the Backup servers
• Oracle/SQL/ESX/NDMP Integration with NetBackup
• Backup/restoration (DR) of UNIX/ Windows Host
• Backup/Restore for Oracle/SQL/ESX/NDMP
• Managing Internal Database of NetBackup
• Configuration and troubleshooting of Ops Center with NetBackup.
• Should also have good understanding on TCP/IP concepts.
• Basic knowledge on Object storage (ECS/Evault) administration.
