- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and user stories.
- Translate requirements and user stories into comprehensive test cases and scripts.
- Conduct manual testing to ensure the functionality, usability, and performance of our Fintech applications.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Selenium for regression and functional testing.
- Perform API testing to validate data integrity and functionality.
- Contribute to enhancing our CI/CD processes by implementing automated testing strategies.
- Generate detailed reports on test results, including defects and their resolutions.
- Create and maintain release documents, ensuring smooth deployment of software updates.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in QA testing and Fintech.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in QA testing, preferably in the Fintech industry.
- Proficiency in manual and automation testing using Python and Selenium.
- Strong understanding of regression, functional, and API testing methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools.
- Experience in writing test cases and test scripts, particularly in Postman.
- Familiarity with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
- Understanding of defect lifecycle and experience in managing defects effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
- Familiarity with financial services and banking systems.
