Job Title : Fleet manager / Traffic Manager Job description

Years of Experience - over 7 years at a fleet owning transport company

Location: Sanjay Gandhi Trasport Nagar - Near Jahangirpuri

Responsibilities:

1. Hiring and Managing truck drivers

2. Daily calls to clients and brokers for loading schedule and orders

3. Coordination with Drivers for timely loading and unloading

4. Daily tracking of all trucks

5. Issuing cash and diesel to drivers from fuel stations

6. Maintaining driver account daily, fuel and cash taken by drivers

7. Timely collection of weight slips and POD (proof of delivery)

8. Supporting repair team in job sheets and monitoring repairs

9. Supporting repair team for en-route repairs and other issues

10. Liaison with accounts team for collection of freights

11. Submission of daily and monthly reports

Skills:

1. Strong communication skills

2. Team work

3. Driver handling

Education:

1. Graduate

2. Comfortable with MS Office (Excel and Word)

3. Should be fluent in Hindi and English (Read and write)

Salary: According to industry standard, directly proportional to aptitude and ability to deliver results.Fleet Manager designation salary ranges from 25000 to 40000/-

The salary amount is dependent on the candidates ability to hire and handle drivers on interstate routes - heavy commercial vehicles of 25-30tons.

Candidates with tracking and coordinating experience alone are approx 25000/-

Experienced driver handlers have higher pay.
