VIPRE Security Group is looking for a talented "DevOps Engineer" who will be responsible for maintaining & monitoring cloud native applications.

An ideal candidate will be committed to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, automating AWS cloud infrastructure, troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure related issues.

Jenkins, CI/CD Piepline, GitHub, Docker, AWS Cloud Services, AWS CLI/CDK, Linux, Python, Terraform,AnisbleResponsibilitiesAutomation of deployment and configuration of infrastructureAutomation of code deployments driven by the development teamUnderstand the requirements of the DevOps/SRT as well as cross functional departments to drive plans, processes and deliverables meeting company, financial and product delivery objectivesParticipate and contribute in design discussions of Infrastructure ArchitectureResearch, evaluate and select replacement tools and technologies when appropriate ensuring alignment with Vipre goals and standardsMaintain and Monitor AWS Infrastructure to make sure high availability of all the deployed servicesFaster a supportive, collaborative, feedback-oriented culture across teamsContinually improve availability, scalability, performance and reliability of our servicesWork with a distributed team of engineersParticipate in 24/7 on call rotation to support and manage production environmentsRequired Skills/ExperienceExperience in developing and managing AWS based deployments using DevOps methodology and toolsProficiency with AWS Cloud Infrastructure, EC2, Security, Roles/Permissions, Lambda, Containers, RDS, Serverless etcProficiency with Docker ContainersExperience with deploying PHP/DotNet applications and managing them in production environmentsStrong Skills in Python, Bash, Powershell, LinuxStrong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Skills/Experience4+ years of experience in Software Engineering and related experience in implementing DevOps practicesKnowledge and experience with setting up or maintaining Jenkins CI/CD pipelines2+ years of experience in designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code with AWS CloudStrong Background in System Administration (Linux, Windows)Experience with Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK or TerraformExperience with AWS CLI/PythonNagios/Prometheus/DataDog/NewRelic exposure - ensuring new code functionality is monitored appropriatelyStrong Organizational Skills, including the ability to respond quickly in a fast-paced environmentBachelor's/Master's Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering or Relevant Field#VIPRE
