    Head-GT/MT/Online Sales -FMCG


    We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head to lead the FMCG vertical, managing General Trade, Modern Trade, and Online Sales divisions, while also playing a crucial role in the development and launch of new products.


    Responsibilities:

    Sales Leadership:

    • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets in General Trade, Modern Trade, and Online Sales channels.
    • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to drive performance and meet sales objectives.
    • Establish strong relationships with key accounts and distributors.

    Market Expansion:

    • Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence in both traditional and online retail spaces.
    • Analyze market trends and consumer behaviour to drive sales growth.

    New Product Devlopmnet:

    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify market needs and opportunities for new product development.
    • Lead the ideation, development, and launch of innovative FMCG products.
    • Conduct market research to understand consumer preferences and competitor offerings.

    Product Launch and Marketing:

    • Devise gotomarket strategies for new product launches.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
    • Ensure the successful introduction of new products into the market.

    Distribution Management:

    • Optimize distribution networks to enhance product availability and visibility.
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of distributors and sales representatives.

    Budgeting and Forecasting:

    • Develop annual sales budgets and forecasts.
    • Monitor expenses and ensure costeffectiveness in sales operations.

    Reporting and Analysis:

    • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
    • Utilize data and analytics to make informed business decisions.

    Qualification & Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
    • 8 to 12 years of experience in FMCG sales leadership, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
    • Experience in new product development and successful product launches.
    • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problemsolving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to lead and inspire a highperformance sales team.
    • Indepth knowledge of the FMCG industry and market dynamics.
