    Max Healthcare is looking for an experienced Legal manager to oversee all legal aspects of our Construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction law, Labour laws, contract negotiation, and risk management. The Candidate will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with all legal requirements, mitigating risks, and providing legal guidance to project teams.

    The job description is as follows:

    • Review, draft and negotiate contracts, including construction agreements, subcontractor agreements and vendor contracts.
    • Ensure contracts comply with legal requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
    • Manage contract modifications, extensions, and terminations as necessary.
    • Stay abreast of all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to construction projects.
    • Develop and implement compliance program's ensure adherence to legal guidelines.
    • Conduct regular audits assess compliance levels and address any gaps.
    • Identify legal risks associated with construction projects and develop strategies to mitigate them.
    • Provide risk assessments and recommendations to project teams.
    • Collaborate with insurance providers secure appropriate coverage for projects.
    • Manage dispute resolution processes, including mediation, arbitration, and litigation.
    • Work closely with external or Internal legal counsel when necessary.
    • Seek opportunities for alternative dispute resolution to minimize Legal costs and project delays.
    • Advise project managers and teams on legal matters throughout project lifecycles.
    • Conduct training sessions to educate project teams on legal requirements and best practices.
    • Serve as a resource for legal inquiries and provide timely, accurate guidance.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date legal documentation for all construction projects.
    • Ensure proper filing and organization of legal records and contracts. Develop and maintain a repository of legal templates and resources for use across projects.
