    Senior React Consultant (Part-Time)

    We are seeking a part-time consultant with expert-level React skills to work approximately 816 hours per week. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 10 years of combined TypeScript and React experience, with a proven record of designing and optimizing React applications at scale.

    Key Responsibilities

    • React Architecture & Implementation
      • Develop, maintain, and optimize complex React applications, utilizing the latest React features (Hooks, Context, Suspense).
      • Drive the overall technical direction of front-end solutions, ensuring scalable, modular, and maintainable architecture.
    • Micro UI & Front-End Design
      • Architect and integrate micro front-end or micro UI components that work seamlessly in larger ecosystems.
      • Ensure consistency in user experience and code standards across multiple React-based services.
    • Code Quality & Best Practices
      • Establish coding standards, design patterns, and best practices tailored to React.
      • Conduct thorough code reviews, promoting maintainable, testable, and performant codebases.
    • Automated Testing with Jest & React Testing Library
      • Build and maintain a robust React-focused test suite, ensuring high code coverage and minimal regressions.
      • Advocate for test-driven development (TDD) principles to increase reliability and optimize development workflows.

    Required Qualifications

    • 10+ years of combined professional experience in JavaScript and React.
    • Expert-level proficiency in React, including Hooks, Context, and other advanced features.
    • Demonstrated experience with micro front-end or micro UI architectures.
    • Extensive hands-on experience with Jest and React Testing Library (or similar frameworks) for automated testing.
    • Proven ability to optimize React performance, including code splitting, memoization, and application profiling.
    • Comfortable using Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Familiarity with TypeScript, Next.js, or other React-based frameworks.
    • Able to design robust React applications using the latest design patterns and best practices.
    • Able to mentor younger developers.
