Description

1. Develop, implement, and monitor the existing fundraising strategy.

Oversee the successful implementation of the current fundraising strategy that includes yearly targets to meet the costs of the current and future programs;

Approach and raise funds from individuals, companies and trusts and foundations within India;

Ensure that fundraising activities are in line with the organizations plan

Ensure that communication materials are in consistent style that reflect the values of the organization;

Engage heads of other departments and central offices regarding fundraising initiatives.

Raise awareness of the organization and its work at state and national levels;

Monitor income and expenditure against budgets and the targets.

2. Implement fundraising initiatives to raise resources from individuals, companies, trusts and foundations

Develop creative and appropriate fundraising activities in line with the overall strategy to tap funds from identified sources;

3. Build and enhance a constituency of well-wishers and supporters

Monitor, manage and update databases to record donor contact and preference information;

Ensure timely, appropriate and quality communication to all donors;

Monitor and evaluate donor communications on a regular basis;
