BangaloreAs a Software Engineer in the Database Storage Engine team, you will be part of a development team working on hard problems in a number of areas, including key-value and document data stores, distributed caching, scale-out fault tolerance and data layer reliability.

You'll work with C/C++ and Go.

You will design and implement cutting-edge distributed, scale-out data infrastructure software systems, which is a pillar for the growing cloud infrastructure.

At the same time, you will bring Unix/Linux systems and server skills to the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and proactive problem solving skills.
The innovative work storage team does has been widely recognized by the industry. The following publications in VLDB conferences reflect the storage work at CouchbaseRequirementsExperience in working with languages like Go / C / C++ ( Mandatory)

Deep knowledge of advanced operating system concepts and data structures.
Experience with designing and writing concurrent/multi-threaded programsExperience in solving distributed systems problemsExperience with performance analysis and debuggingKnowledge of Linux I/O stack and Database internals- 7 years of experience of Systems ProgrammingEducation:

Work on the world's best distributed database server storage internals, infrastructure and best database as a service (DBaas) which companies rely on for mission critical OLTP needsDiscuss and debate with your peers as you help figure out product requirements and the architectural approach to getting things built, tested & supportedDesign, implement, test, troubleshoot & support needle-mover capabilities across server, mobile, sdks and cloud with simplicity, elegance and economyThink quality; think leverage.
