- To competently manage the Medical and scientific affairs Department in India
- Collaborate with the commercial team and build medical strategy for India.
- Assist and advise Marketing on all promotional activities, and to ensure compliance with the relevant promotional Codes.
- As a member of by the Medical Affairs department, ensure appropriate support and training provided to all other functions.
- As a member of Medical Affairs Department, provide scientific and clinical input the into key commercial initiatives as required, including new product introductions and related product evaluations.
- Establish and develop strong relationships with key external customers including KOLs, Professional Associations, Healthcare Institutions for strategic development of India business.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's portfolio of products, the relevant therapeutic areas and the medical environment in India.
- Ensure medical/clinical/scientific support/guidance and training is provided to all other functions.
- Provides appropriate support to the Investigator Initiated Studies/Research projects in the country.
- Liaise with external authorities/organisations/institutions as required
- MBBS or a degree in Microbiology
- Higher professional qualification desirable but not essential
- 3-5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/IVD industry preferred but not essential.
