    Description

    Overview:

    The SAP PP(Production Planning) role is crucial to our organization as it isresponsible for efficiently planning scheduling and controlling theproduction process to meet customer demands while optimizinginventory and resources. This role plays a key part in ensuringthat production processes run smoothly andeffectively.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Collaborate withbusiness stakeholders to understand production requirements anddevelop production plans.
    • Configure andmaintain the SAP PP module to support production planning andexecution.
    • Monitor production processes toensure adherence to schedules and qualitystandards.
    • Utilize Material RequirementsPlanning (MRP) to maintain optimal inventorylevels.
    • Coordinate with procurement andwarehouse teams to ensure availability of materials forproduction.
    • Analyze production data to identifyareas for improvement and implement solutions to optimizeproduction.
    • Lead and support SAP PP moduleimplementations and upgrades.
    • Provide trainingand support to end users to ensure effective utilization of the SAPPP system.
    • Develop and maintain documentationof production processes procedures and systemconfigurations.
    • Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams to resolve production and material managementissues.
    • Support the integration of SAP PP withother modules such as MM and SD.
    • Participate inthe testing and validation of system changes andenhancements.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatoryrequirements and best practices in productionplanning.
    • Contribute to continuous improvementinitiatives within the production planningfunction.
    • Manage and prioritize multiple tasksto meet deadlines and deliverresults.

    RequiredQualifications:

    • Bachelors degree inEngineering Business or related field.
    • 3 yearsof experience in SAP PP implementation andsupport.
    • Expertise in production planningprocesses and best practices.
    • Strong knowledgeof Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and its application in SAPPP.
    • Experience in configuring and customizingSAP PP to align with businessrequirements.
    • Ability to analyze complexproduction scenarios and propose effectivesolutions.
    • Proficiency in integrating SAP PPwith other SAP modules such as MM andSD.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonalskills for stakeholder engagement.
    • Capabilityto lead and support SAP PP system implementations andupgrades.
    • Understanding of manufacturingprocesses and their interaction with SAPPP.
    • Knowledge of key performance indicators(KPIs) in production planning.
    • Experience intraining end users and providing systemsupport.
    • Strong problemsolving and analyticalabilities.
    • Ability to work effectively in ateam and collaborate acrossfunctions.
    • Certification in SAP PP ispreferred.
