Responsibilities:

Physical Design Planning:
Collaborate with chip architects and logic designers to understandthe design goals constraints and specifications. Develop a physicaldesign plan that outlines the steps and resources needed forsuccessfulimplementation.

Floorplanning:

Create a floorplan that defines the placement of differentfunctional blocks and components on the semiconductor die tooptimize power performance and area(PPA).

Placement:
Place and optimize logic cells memory elements and other IP blockson the chip according to the floorplan. Balance tradeoffs betweenarea timing and powerconsumption.
ClockTree Synthesis (CTS): Design and implement clock distributionnetworks to ensure synchronized clock signals throughout the chipminimizing clock skew andjitter.
