    Job description: Hospitality Senior Manager Events

    A New Knot Weddings & Celebrations is looking for an energetic, confident and independent individual to join our Hospitality Team. The Senior Manager's role will have a dual focus.

    60% of the role planning the hospitality and 40% of the role will be operational and involve the execution of the event.

    The Senior Manager will report directly to the Director of Events and will ensure that all A New Knot Weddings & Celebrations events are delivered to a high quality of a nature appropriate to the brand, on time.

    Excellent planning, organizational and project management skills are, therefore, key. The ideal candidate should also be able to propose and implement Hospitality & Guest Relations initiatives to further develop the diverse revenue streams of the division.

    • Organizing and coordinating operations to ensure maximum efficiency
    • Plan & coordinate guest RSVP for different weddings
    • Collate all guest details : Postal address, flight details etc and make reports
    • Coordinate sending save the date & invitation cards
    • Overall coordination for hospitality and guest relation
    • Ensure all records are kept properly and consistently
    • Meetings with clients and timely update on the guest details & reports

    Qualifications:

    • Diploma/ Degree in Event Management
    • Graduate Degree in Hotel Management
    • Work Experience with an events agency within the country
    • Work Experience with an hotels within the country

    Skills:

    • Versatile individual who is adept in both event design and implementation of on-ground events with an eye for detail
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Includes coordinating with external agencies & liaising with internal departments.
    • Proven hands-on, problem-solving record to successfully address unforeseen situations during project execution.
    • Excellent project management and problem solving skills. Includes maintaining event data, budgets and P&L's
    • Excellent Excel, Power Point and project management software knowledge
    • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and to handle multiple projects simultaneously
    • Execute events from start to finish independently with attention to detail

    Desired Skills and Experience: Minimum Experience requirements:

    Minimum of 5 years' event agency experience handling both large & small scale events in India

    Candidates with additional international event management experience will be preferred.
