Description

Responsibilities:

Conceptualize and develop architectural designs in accordance with client requirements, building codes, and industry standards.

Create detailed drawings, renderings, and models using CAD software and other design tools.

Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, goals, and constraints, and incorporate feedback into design iterations.

Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure that designs are feasible, cost-effective, and structurally sound.

Conduct site visits and surveys to assess existing conditions and gather information for design development.

Research and stay updated on the latest trends, materials, and technologies in architecture and design.

Prepare and present design proposals, presentations, and reports to clients and stakeholders.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members, interns, and design team members.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.

Professional licensure or eligibility for licensure preferred.

Proven experience in architectural design, with a portfolio showcasing completed projects.

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and other design tools.

Strong design sensibility and creativity, with the ability to translate concepts into compelling architectural solutions.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and sustainability principles.

Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
