This position involves supervising mailboxes, prioritizing important emails from clients, and ensuring indirect and direct tax payments and returns procedures are followed.

We're seeking candidates with a strong understanding of tax functions and lean/six sigma awareness.

Responsibilities:

Review applicable accounting reports and tax reconciliations to ensure accuracy before end-of-month/end-of-quarter/year-end deadlines.
Provide effective communication between the business and client departments.
Assist in developing and implementing applications and maintaining accurate internal controls.
Investigate queries and provide RCA for customer concerns.
Coordinate with multiple partners and provide training to backup resources.

About the Role

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

A graduate degree in Commerce.
Proven experience in tax functions or indirect and direct tax.
Insurance domain knowledge and lean/six sigma awareness.

Demonstrated delivery of high-quality output.

About You

We're looking for someone who can form relationships with internal customers and clients, responding proactively to stretch situations and volume spikes.
