    Job description

    • Design, implement, and manage security controls and practices in cloud environments.
    • Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
    • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to enhance security operations and incident response.
    • Implement and manage security infrastructure as code.
    • Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to integrate security practices into the DevOps pipeline.
    • Provide security guidance and best practices to engineering teams
    • Establish and maintain monitoring systems to detect and respond to security threats and anomalies.
    • Lead incident response efforts, including root cause analysis and remediation.
    • Stay current with emerging security threats and industry trends.
    • Propose and implement improvements to security policies, processes, and technologies.

    What skills do I need

    • 3+ years of experience in cloud security, site reliability engineering, or a related role
    • bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security
    • Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their security features.
    • Experience with microservices and distributed applications and serverless computing capabilities on AWS
    • Proficiency in scripting languages (eg, Python, Bash) and automation tools (eg, Terraform, Ansible).
    • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (eg, Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (eg, NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
    • Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
    • Knowledge of network security, identity and access management, and data protection.
    • Having certifications like CISSP, CISM, AWS Certified Security - Specialty is preferred
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
