As we continue to grow and expand our operationswe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Controllerto join our team inGurgaon.
JobDescription:As a FinanceController you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects offinancial management including accounting budgeting forecasting andfinancial reporting. You will play a key role in driving thecompanys financial strategy and ensuring compliance with regulatoryrequirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background infinance excellent leadership skills and a proactive approach toproblemsolving.Responsibilities:

1. FinancialPlanning and Analysis(FP&A):

• Developand maintain financial models to support strategic planning anddecisionmaking.
• Prepare annual budgetsforecasts and variance analysisreports.
• Monitor key financial metrics andprovide insights to seniormanagement.

1. FinancialReporting:

• Overseethe preparation of accurate and timely financial statements inaccordance with GAAP and companypolicies.
• Coordinate with external auditors forannual audits and ensure compliance with regulatoryrequirements.
• Review monthly quarterly andannual financial reports and present findings tomanagement.

1. AccountingandCompliance:

• Managedaytoday accounting activities including accounts payable accountsreceivable and general ledger.
• Ensurecompliance with local tax regulations and oversee the preparationof tax filings.
• Implement and maintain internalcontrols to safeguard company assets and mitigate financialrisk.

1. CashFlowManagement:

• Monitorcash flow projections and manage working capital to supportbusiness operations.
• Optimize cash managementprocesses and identify opportunities to improveliquidity.

1. StrategicPlanning:

• Collaboratewith crossfunctional teams to develop and execute strategicinitiatives aligned with the companys longterm goals andobjectives.
• Conduct financial analysis andscenario modeling to evaluate potential business opportunities andrisks.
• Provide strategic recommendations tosenior management based on thorough market research and industrytrendsanalysis.

1. VendorManagement:

• Overseevendor relationships and contract negotiations to ensurecosteffectiveness and quality of goods andservices.
• Review vendor agreements and terms tomitigate risks and optimize vendorperformance.
• Monitor vendor performance metricsand implement improvement plans as necessary to drive operationalefficiency.

1. CustomerReconciliation:

• Leadefforts to reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies ina timely manner.
• Collaborate with sales andcustomer service teams to address customer inquiries and disputesrelated to billing and payments.
• Implement bestpractices for customer account reconciliation processes to enhanceaccuracy andefficiency.

1. ForeignExchange (Forex) RiskManagement:

• Assessand manage foreign exchange risks associated with internationaltransactions and currency fluctuations.
• Develophedging strategies to mitigate forex exposure and protect companyassets.
• Monitor forex market trends and providerecommendations to senior management to optimize currency riskmanagementstrategies.

Qualifications:

• QualifiedChartered Accountant (CA) with 8 to 12 years of experience infinance and accounting.
• Proven track record ofsuccess in a similar role preferably within the D2C industry orrelated sectors.
• Strong knowledge of financialplanning and analysis budgeting and financial reportingprocesses.
• Proficiency in financial modelingExcel and accounting software (e.g. SAPOracle).
• Excellent analytical skills with theability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionableinsights.
• Thorough understanding of regulatoryrequirements and compliancestandards.
• Effective communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to interact with stakeholdersat all levels.
• Demonstrated leadershipabilities with a track record of building and motivatinghighperformingteams.
