Role: Head - Engineering Purchase / Engineering Procurement

Designation: Sr. Manager / AGM

Qualification: B.Tech / M.Tech

Minimum Experience: 15 years

Team size: 12 members

Reports to: Head - Operations

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies that supports the organization to excel
• Procurement of Engineering Mechanical, Electrical, Civil equipment, Consumables and other lab consumables arranging to the API Units
• Vendor Analysis and Vendor development
• Follow-up for timely dispatch of materials at minimum logistics cost
• Coordinate with the Warehouse and Engineering departments to ensure the quality checks of the materials as per compliance standards
• Exposure of ERP based purchase activities in procuring all the materials and equipment
• Negotiating and finalizing the CAPEX and OPEX equipment on both technical and commercial
• Working on existing procurement procedures and developing new procedures
• Sound knowledge on all procurement processes and practices
• Should have strong exposure to API and Intermediates related Engineering Indirect material procurement
• Good negotiation skills with sound conceptual concept clarity on tax implications
• Leading and guiding team of buyers and maintain effective teams
