    Job Profile

    Position details:

    To perform BAU application and operation support management on multiple Data Management Systems across MUFG Bank EMEA and MUS International. The role will be to head the BAU team in managing and resolving incidents, problems and changes. There is additional requirement for this to role to support planning, design and developing of database solutions on a wide range of solutions for various business areas across the MUFG BANK EMEA and MUS Securities with consideration for the supportability of these systems to reduce ongoing support costs.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    Delivery:

    • Manage a team of 14 members in India to support applications related to MUFG Bank and Securities.
    • Manage the Incidents queue and manage the workload across shift.
    • Point of contact for the head of DEBI for any technical issues within the application.
    • Maintaining and updating system technical documents and service operation manuals.
    • To ensure the support provided is within the Service Level agreement set with business and technology groups.
    • Ensure IT governance, standards and procedures are adhered to at all times.
    • Plan and perform software releases as apart of Release and Change process.
    • Develop and deliver Application software changes according to requirement.
    • Investigate production incidents/problems and provide solution to fixing the issues.
    • Assess impact on supported systems based on production changes.
    • Follow standard tooling such as ServiceNow to manage Incidents, Problem and Change.
    • Maintain a good and detailed knowledge of AMD DEBI (Data Engineering and Business Intelligence) applications so as to effectively provide BAU support.
    • Ensure effective communications are maintained through timely sharing of information to technology and business stakeholders.
    • Liaise with external vendors such as Informatica, Hitachi for maintenance support on Application tools.
    • Provide solutions to strategically and effectively manage the resources and optimize the costs.

    Management:

    • Management of the team all aspects related to the resource management like hiring, allocation, performance and mentoring.
    • Ensure Resources and shifts are properly allocated.
    • Create Monthly KPI for the service and ensure the KRI are tracker for the applications supported

    Risk & Compliance:

    • Ensure all activity fully complies with the appropriate policies, procedures and controls
    • Strict adherence to change management and privileged production access management processes

    Job Requirements:

    The Ideal candidate will be managing the DEBI platform support teams and we are looking for a person who strong experience in managing large scale teams and supporting production applications.

    • ETL Tools: Informatica PowerCenter ETL, SSIS
    • ETL Admin: Informatica PowerCenter administration.
    • Database: Oracle , SQL Server
    • Batch Job scheduler like Control M (preferred) or any other similar scheduling tool
    • Powershell, Plsql, SQL server Stored Procs.
    • Cloud: Snowflake ( good to have )
    • Data Governance : Informatica Axon. IDQ and EDC ( Advantageous)
    • Experience in application development, database development and system support.
    • Experience with Java and ElasticSearch is advantageous.

    Functional / Technical Competencies:

    • Knowledge of the IT infrastructure (for example, hardware, databases, operating systems, local area networks) and the IT applications and service processes used within a Financial Services organization.
    • Required to have a good understanding of software development methodologies.
    • Good Data analysis and SQL
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Experience in managing teams of similar size.
    • Working and managing cross functional teams.
