    We are seeking a skilled and motivated Desktop Hardware and Software Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. As a Desktop Hardware and Software Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to end users, ensuring smooth operation of all Laptop and desktop systems, software, and hardware.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Technical Support: Provide support to employees for desktop computers, laptops, and peripherals.
    • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
    • Setup and Configuration: Set up and configure desktop systems, laptops, and applications.
    • Maintenance: Maintain and upgrade desktop hardware and software as needed.
    • Network Support: Install, configure, and support network printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
    • Support Requests: Respond to and resolve support requests via phone or in person.
    • User Training: Provide user training on software and hardware usage when necessary.
    • System Updates: Perform system updates and patch management to ensure systems are up to date and secure.
    • Solution Documentation: Document all support activities and solutions in the ticketing system.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/ Diploma, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in desktop support, IT support, or a related role.
    • Proficiency in supporting Windows, macOS, and/or Linux operating systems.
    • Strong understanding of desktop hardware, software, and networking fundamentals.
    • Experience with Active Directory, MS Outlook, Microsoft Office 365, and other enterprise software.
    • Familiarity with remote support tools and techniques.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
