Job DescriptionProgrammer/Analyst 2Job PurposeWe are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic DevOps Engineer to join our 42Q organization.
In this position, you will be responsible to implement the DevOps methodology to our IT infrastructure as well as to define and put in practice the processes and tools necessary to have DevOps practices working properly and in an efficient way to provide the best support to development and operational teams.
The position can be extended to senior level depending on the experience level.Nature of DutiesResponsible to provide solutions to manufacturing problems using DevOps methodologies and tools
Manage the IT infrastructure that is needed to support software code in dedicated, multi-tenant or hybrid cloud environments
Develop and perform tests on the applications (preparing test data, analyzing results, troubleshooting problems and communicating issues back to development) deploying the applications in appropriate test servers to validate the systems against customers needs
Responsible to implement and support the development teams regarding Continuous Integrations (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD);
Responsible to define the best DevOps tools to be used during the software development
Ensure the integrity, security, and confidentiality of the applications by applying adequate patterns and methods
Analyze the use of new solutions and technologies, train and provide technical support to the users of the applications according to the features available for use, procedures and/or manuals developed
Education and ExperienceBachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field
Advanced experience (3+ years minimum) with AWS is required: Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies (Apache, etc) and cloud services (ELB, EBS, S3, Security Groups).
Experience with automation/configuration management.
Extensive experience with Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, Terraform, Gitlab. (4+ years is a plus). Kubernetes experience is a major plus.
Unix/Linux knowledge is desirable.
Ability to code and script
Wide experience with systems and IT operations
Good communication skills, both in written and in verbal form
